Significant changes to the AERMET code beginning with version 00357 (December 22, 2000) are documented in a 'changes.log' file archived with the source code; the latest 13 documented changes are new to version 02222. Notes for Executables The executables were created using Compaq Visual Fortran Version 6.6. Compiler options used are the Compaq Visual Fortran defaults for a release mode executable. The AERMET executables provided with this release are DOS applications and must be run from the DOS prompt. There are two AERMET executables, STAGE1N2 and STAG3. The command filenames used by these executables, STAGE1N2.INP and STAGE3.INP, respectively are 'hardwired' and must reside in the same directory as the executable. A DOS 'batch' file (AERMET.BAT) is provided to facilitate copying user constructed command files and running the executables. Please see the readme file for version 02081 'readme.old' (archived with the AERMET executables) for further information.
